Considering the chains of coincidence, misunderstandings and strange notions that seem to have led us to our "choices", I have to vote for Kim's theory.

Only thing that never works is "because someone else thought I should play the *******".

Of course this hasn't stopped me trying to influence my kids choices, but mostly I just try to make sure they're surrounded by good music.
