Recorder was taught, briefly, in elemantary school. My Dad gat a tenor one and my mother got an alto so with two brothers we would sometimes play pieces together. I tried piano but didn't get very far with it as I often lived in houses that didn't have a piano. Every instrument I tried as a teenager was usurped by my older brother so I eventually started singing as he couldn't take that away from me. I started learning guitar on my own a year and a half ago so I could accompany myself. I still sing a lot better than I play.
