In the U.S., drugstores sell sticky pads saturated with salicylic acid. You put one over the callus & change it every 2 days. In about a week, the callus turns soft & peels off painlessly.

Spelling point: The noun is callus (calluses).
The verb is callus (calluses, callused, callused, callusing).
The adjective is callous.
