I'll tell you the tale of the Abigail H
In Heysham harbour she did wait--
To sail out on the flood
Loaded up with silt & mud.

Yo, ho, ho, sad was the fate,
Of the dredger the Abigail H.
IB Your wish is my command!

Full of mud was her hold
But then alas, so I am told
Before the crew's very eyes
Abigail H she did capsize!

The Captain asleep in his bunk
Never knew his ship had sunk.
'Til on his matress he did float
Out of the porthole & his socks got soaked.

"Avast ye lubbers" They heard a shout
"Hands to the pumps lads & pump her out
As the Mary Ellen Carter she was saved
The Abigail H too she was raised
