I've also emailed a complaint - whether it will make any difference remains to be seen. Still, we do what we can. Given the size of the room, I doubt they'll make anything of it as a restaurant but, given the parlous state of the pub trade, I can see that they'd want to maximise as much profit from the space as possible.

Questions for Val:

1. Would they still charge for a different evening, say Friday?

2. Is the Elephant venue in the main bar, or is there a similar upstairs room there?
