Thanks for the supportive messages, everyone. My last post disappeared into cyberspace, so I'll try again.

We had to find a new home in a great hurry, having effectively been given four weeks' notice after 21 years. Announcing and arranging the move is a huge effort and will continue to cause confusion for a long time; it would also be very graceless to run away from the Elephant after they've been so helpful and welcoming, so our move is not reversible.

Nevertheless it's worth complaining to Fullers and anyone else you can think of, in the interest of saving refuges for traditional music and showing them that you lose money and friends if you evict folk clubs.

I must point out here that the Saturday Lewes Arms /Elephant club is completely separate although on good terms with Vic Smith's Thursday night club in the Royal Oak , Lewes.
