Have you ever thought why so many of the travellers home in on Glastonbury? Have you ever thought why so many people there, the 'pissheads' as you call them, are there too?

Don't you understand that for them, Glastonbury is home. For them, it's the meeting place of others who are lost and lonely, whose lives haven't gone the way they ever imagined..and that yes, even amongst "the pissheads", there is a sense of community, a sense of belonging to *someone*, rather than being alone.

Maybe that's what Glastonbury has to teach you.

And if they've come together around a religous site, then perhaps that also is saying something. Perhaps Glastonbury is about Acceptance, and There But For The Grace of God Go I.

Why don't you stop and ask one of the 'pissheads' how he/she is, next time you're in town, ask him how they came to be there, learn their story....You might be surprised.
