Please help!I'm preparing for my 3rd annual indulgence in some of the greatest chamber music, story-telling and book-talks to be had in Ontario: Festival of the Sound, in Parry Sound. It runs July 14th to August 6th, tho' I like to get there a day early to set up camp and check out busking sites. However...
Feeling desperate!
As usual I'm equipped for camping, problem is, I didn't have the money to book a handy provincial campsite and now all the reservations are gone (Oastler, Killbear, Arrowhead) within a reasonable drive for events that begin as early as 10:30 a.m. and end as late as 11:00ish at night.
Arrgh!
Anyone know of a patch of (fairly level) ground in the general vicinity of Parry Sound, with a potable water source and an outhouse?? Bush, back 40, back yard, I'm flexible -- and trying not to sweat it too much yet, still more than a week to go. GULP!
Suggestions???
(Note to self: I will not panic. I will not panic. I will not panic. I will not panic. I will not panic.)
CH
P.S. or private campgrounds, if they have an area for tenting away from the sounds of air conditioners and TVs.
