I will be putting a set of limited edition prints of the Tall Ships from the 1976 OpSail on the Mudcat auction site.

In '76, I drove a carful of kids over the Verrazano Bridge so that they could get to see the ships up close. The traffic was horrendous so I simply pulled over and parked. Soon everyone else followed suit and it was party time on the bridge. After about fifteen minutes, a lone police officer on a motorcycle came across the bridge with a bullhorn announcing "You are all under arrest!" The "kids" now parents themselves still talk about the day Aunt Mary got them all arrested. And oh those ships were beautiful!
