There was a made-for-TV Muppet Christmas show on NBC last night, with guest appearances by Jesse L. Martin (Detective Ed Green from Law & Order - great singer!), Uma Thurman, Nathan Lane

Pretty weak plot about delivering a kid's letter to Santa at the North Pole, and some so-so songs.

Nowhere near as good as the Muppet Christmas Carol.

BTW, if any of you are watching the MCC this year, keep an eye out for the scene where Beaker and Bunsen come in to persuade Scrooge (Michael Caine) to make a charitable donation.

When he humbugs them out the door, Beaker turns round and flips him the bird! Check it out.
