It is true that that thread did make me think again about continuing to host the session but I had only intended to host it as a temporary measure and I had intended moving anyway.

For the record, if anything, I found the general lack of support (with a few exceptions) or willingness even voice an opinion (even if different to mine) on the issue that I was trying to raise which was NOT the whether women have their own event issue but how should we cater for slightly more exclusive events by those who have participated in and enjoyed the Hearme sessions that I hosted far more upsetting than any dissagreement I had with Harpgirl.
