OH home made is a different story entirely, I bet it is wonderful..

The ones from the store that are 70 lbs are so so dry, The fruit inside is like rubber. I am amazed at how bad they are and they last of years and years.   I had a neighbor in PA that made her own and you are right , absolutely wonderful she had all kinds of things in it and it was just moist and wonderful ... I don't know what the store brands puts into those things but it is kinda like my mom's cookies ... dangerous
