I decided to try for a different look on my mantle this year, using the collectible things that I am keeping, not de-cluttering out of the house. I've put some crystal and silver and a few ornaments up so far, and I'll keep adding until it looks good and kind of old fashioned, but not too crowded.
Sounds like some of you are probably working just to stay warm, let alone clear out extra stuff. Unless maybe you're burning it to heat the house. We're due ice overnight. Take care, everyone!
