I have a cinder block house and it is impossible to keep warm. I have been huddling under a blanket or three since Sunday.
The Solstice party happened but I did not stay around to socialize; worried about gettinghome. Fortunately I have 4-wheeldrive.
Unfortunately I seem to have lost one cat in the snow. I let them all out on the patio Sunday just so they would understand they did not want to be out there. Little chin Chin refused to come back in. I left her, thinking she just needed to think about it, and when I next checked she was not there. I do not know why she decided to head out into the deep deep snow but I do not think she has a chance of having survived.
That is a mistake I will not make again.
I am now in the house with 4 stir crazy cats, and more snow falling outside.
I am going to the Y before work, just so I can soak in the hot tub.
