I campaigned hard for a half birthday celebration, but by the time I got the idea all my cousins began graduation and wedding celebrations.... my folks didn't think it was a great idea.

but my folks did remember to buy birthday paper for birthday presents. I definately remember feeling short-changed when a present came in Christmas paper and folks said "this is for your birthday and Christmas" UGH!
