I found this website by linking to Willie-O's "Circular Bog" which is coincidentally a tune my grandmother sang this weekend that I'd never heard before. She got it from her own mother who worked at the Paudash Logging Camp during the winters of the 30s and 40s.

I would be interested in learning more about the history of this song, or to pick up any other information, folklore, tunes that come from either Paudash Lake, Bancroft, Hastings County or The Monck Road in Ontario.
