No, sorry. I know the chap concerned was singing in clubs in the Barnsley region at the time so I hoped maybe somebody might have heard it (he may still be singing there).

It wasn't a comedy song if I remember rightly. It was based on the fact (?) that the majority of folk singers at that time in that area at least, were teachers.

Was the last line of the chorus something along the lines of

"Thank god the kids can never see
Behind the staff room door"?
