2009 has barely begun and I am already indulging in one of my favourite pastimes, i.e planning our next vacation. This year, Charmion and I are planning to go to Tennessee, since we have both wanted to see the Shiloh battlefield for some time. Ialso recently saw a documentary with Stephen Fry driving around the South in a London taxicab. What I remember most his transparent delight in visiting a community music session at a schol or communty centre somewhere in Tennessee. This leads to my request to Mudcatland: what sessions, concerts, venues, etc would you recommend to a visitor to Tennessee?
