The sun shone on the village green. It shone on Poor Blind Nell,
But did she see the sun that shone? Did she fucking hell!

A sailor to the village came, the captain of a lugger.
He captivated Poor Blind Nell, the dirty, lousy bugger.

One night he slept with Poor Blind Nell. He knew it wasn't lawful,
