Sheriff Lorin Neilson, sheriff of Bannock County, and some of his deputies finally caught the guy who'd stolen one of the County Commissioners horses last week. The horse, which was a much-loved roan, was used by the Commish when he was a full-time rancher and more recently was used to teach his grandkids to ride. They were darned glad to get the horse back but were appalled to learn that the thief had been trying to use the horse to steal other horses. Sheriff Neilson is said to have comforted the Commish by reminding him that "a stolen roan gathers no horse."
