Sorry I was away so long, MOM, and you had to listen to so much more of this doggerel. The modedm died again and I had to run new wires to the modem from up in the attic and found my contractor took a little shortcut when he put in the cables--he ran them sideways through a stud down near the junction box.

I'll repair the hole in the wall later.
