"Wade in the Water" has numerous verses in various versions, including all the widely used "dressed in ___" couplets, in the form:
"Who's that yonder, dressed in _____"
"Must be ___________________________".
As in:
Red__________________The children Moses left for dead
White--------------The children of the Israelites
Blue---------------The Hypocrites a-coming through
Black---------------The Hypocrites a-comin' back
