I've been trying to come up with ideas for this, but all I keep thinking of is movies so plain reeking bad that I wouldn't encourage anyone but my worst enemy to rent thaem. One more suitable for this list finally came to mind: "The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai Across The Eighth Dimension". We sat and watched it with family on my wife's side years ago, at the instigation of a then-teenaged nephew. My father in law sat napping through it, waking up ocasionally just long enough to mutter "this is terrible". I later noticed a copy for $2.00 at a sidewalk sale, and bought it for a gift for the nephew.
