I was at first concerned that we would loose out to football. Then, as the pub looked more than a bit worn and empty that it would simply close. Rumour has it that The Horse and Jockey, the big pub on the Green to which we once decamped, is to be turned into a Gastro Pub - whatver that is. I am now concerned that the Beech might become Cocktail Bar supporting the "Gastro and Jockey".

Well perhaps not.
