We've been using "holy moley" a lot lately, plus "hot diggity dog," though I don't think of that as a swear word. My grandson thinks they are funny.

In a novel I read recently, the ladies using a basin of water to bathe, would take off their tops and say, wash as far as possible. Then they'd pull up their tops and lift up their skirts, again, saying to wash as far as possible. When they got done with that they'd laugh and say, now wash Possible!
