Thank you for that clip, Bob. That was my favorite movie when I was about 15 years old. Purdom never had much of a Hollywood career, but he was a working actor, I guess, for a long spell.

Fifty-five years on, I think the only principal players from the Egyptian still alive are Tommy Rettig, the boy, and Jean Simmons.
