It might feed them for a very short period of time, but it would not sustain them over the long run. And since there was no legitimate reason for the blockade of Gaza during the cease fire, especially since the only people who were effected by the blockade were civilians, and since the government of Israel agreed to end the blockade under the terms of the cease fire, such a blockade was an act of war on the part of the government of Israel.
