here in sunny summery Sydney it's another cooler day, around 21C where I am & 24C out west, 54% humidity, similar to yesterday. Previous days have been very hot (mid 30s) & humid (in the 70s).

Recent temperatures 21-23C, previous days 35C here near the harbour & beaches, & 41C out west where majority of Sydney's population lives. It was so hot on Monday when friends took their grandchildren to an animal park (41 in the open air!) that they didn't stay & instead went home to their suburb where the 41C could be survived in air-conditioned comfort. Same day I was sweltering in 31C temperatures under my fan after buying groceries in air-conditned shopping centre travelling in air-conditioned buses & scurrying around hot streets to my slightly cooler place.
