Hi all,

This nonsense rhyme might come from a (kids') story rather than a song--or not. If someone knows the name of the composition or any more details at all, I'd appreciate it:

Ellery bellery ripty rah,
ripty ropty rollah.

I know it from a story my Dad used to tell me in the 1950s, but sometimes he told songs as stories. All other details have been lost in the mists of time.
