Since this thread started I acquired a copy of "Live at the White Bear" which dates from 1958 with line up of DD, Dick Powell (vln) Neville Skrimshire & Danny Purssord (gtrs) Johnny Johnson or Tim Mahn or Tony Goffe (bass) .Why 3 bassists taking turns on the same evening I don't know (Mahn was booked but arrived late so was deputised at the start). If anyone is interestd I'll list the tracks, all usual Hot Club titles.
