After receiving three really warm reviews in the UK folk/traditional music press for my new solo CD (The Living Tradition magazine, fRoots, and Musical Traditions website) and a bit of encouragement from Vic Smith and Peter Shepheard, it looks like I'm heading to England in October 2009 for a brief little tour of folk clubs and the like - - my first! I'm really looking forward to it.

So, here is the itinerary so far. Would really appreciate suggestions, recommendations, etc for filling in the open dates.

Tuesday, 20 October - arrive Heathrow Airport
Wednesday, 21 October - visit singers session at Stroud w/ Rod Stradling
Thursday, 22 October - Royal Oak, Lewes
Friday, 23 October - Swindon Folk Singers Club, Swindon
Saturday, 24 October - Kirkby Fleetham Folk Club, North Yorks (40 minute spot)
Sunday, 25 October - Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton le Hole, early afternoon show
Monday, 26 October
Tuesday, 27 October
Wednesday, 28 October - Cross Keys Folk Club, east of Manchester
Thursday, 29 October - depart from Manchester Airport
