Thread Name: BS: Sharing birthdays with the famous
Subject: RE: BS: Sharing birthdays with the famous
Mine is Nov 8. For many years, I thought I shared a birthday with the great Katherinie Hepburn, but in more recent years I learned that she had given out out my birthdate as the wrong date for her birthday, in an effort to keep her real DOB secret ~ ?????!

That's OK ~ I still have Bonnie Raitt, among others, with whom to share my birthday. Bonnie's exactly two years younger than I am. Always was, always will be.

Another semi-famous person born on 11/8 is former New York Met Ed Kranepool. Famous enough for me, but not for the website Will references above. Ed is also close to my age, but in his case, he's a little older (2 or 3 years).

Krane was not quite an "original" Met, because he was still in high school in the Bronx on Opening Day in 1962. However, he was drafted in midsummer and made the major league roster later in that inaugural season of the New York Metropolitan Baseball Club. He went on to enjoy a long and good-but-not-great career with his one and only big league team, right there in his hometown.
