I am sorry to hear about Dave Dee--I remember, and am still fond, of their music. With the advent of the internet, I was delighted to discover that they, and he, still had many dedicated fans.

They had about fifteen minutes of fame here in the US, perhaps because it was so much fun to say their name. A couple years back, I made up a mix CD for the car with both Xanadu and Zabadak on it and the kids still love to listen to both songs--their music was full of a sense of fun that has been missing from popular music for a very long time, and even all these years later, I think it retains all the qualities that it originally had--
