No one here understands the true meaning of "folk music" except me. No one! It's pitiable, but it's true.

I would explain what folk music really is to all you poor ignoramuses, but I know that you would never understand the explanation anyway, so what would be the use? It would be like trying to teach a walrus to dance! Futile.

I'll just have to learn to live on in my splendid isolation, comforted by the knowledge that I, and only I, hold in my unique understanding the entire legacy of "folk music", and that it will probably die with me.

There's something so poignant about that, that it puts a tear in my eye....
