Subject: RE: BS: Shoppin' carts,,, Grrrrr....
You often can't test a shopping cart out nowadays because many stores have installed some sort of rough surfaced flooring like natural cobbles or stiff corrugated "welcome mat" stuff in the entranceway where the shopping carts are stored. This rough surface keeps you from evaluating the cart's handling until you've already pushed the thing the fifty feet or so to the beginning of the "real" store. Then, when you finally hit smooth flooring and find the cart wobbles like a 56 Desoto with bad tie rod ends, you have to make a decision: do you want to turn around and walk the extra fifty feet to take it back, get another, and hope for better results, or would you rather just say "Screw it!" and put up with a wobbly cart?
