A commercial building that my apartment overlooks has a frozen waterfall hanging from just below its flat roof and hugging the wall. It must be 10 or 12 feet wide.
When I first saw it, I thought that the building was simply lacking in insulation but the ice kept/keeps getting thicker and more impressive. These are not icicles but huge, dense excrusences (sp?).
I stopped in at one of the shops the other day and asked the owner if she had noticed the ice. She blew me off, so I imagine they know.
When the weather turns warm they are going to notice it. For sure.
