My new fence panels are not the ones I wanted, they're too tall, so if I put the trellis on the top they'll be over 8ft which is not allowed... ('immovable' objects like walls and fences must be no higher than 6ft), so I'll probably have 3 bits of trellis to take back...

The handle on my pickaxe broke, I can't find the rest of the brackets and the wretched panels are 2" too long to put on the present posts. And my help didn't show up. It's not going the way I planned.

But the 5 bags of garden crap (I choose my words carefully) are now in the front garden, waiting to be put into the car and transported to the tip, and it already looks a whole heap better out the back. PLUS:- I got to within 5ft of the robin, who was looking for insects in the leaf mould I'd turned over. He just sat on the branch and watched me watching him... one of those moments. :D
