having seen [savers] rates fall I realise how expensive going out can be.

This week in Redbourn there are 2 cracking gigs, one Thursday with Steve Tilston , great fella, and two days later on Saturday with the Skiffle Orchestra.

for 2 persons this could be very expensive especially if you want to buy CDs, drinks ,raffle tickets and transportation.



I would be concerned for folk clubs and performers alike

Most of the patrons are in the 'later years' age group and will be watching the pennies.

Longer term forecast, its going to be difficult and will singers/agents - spit- take this into consideration when negotiating fees?
