What goes around comes around--at my last dentist appointment, probably 8 or 9 months ago, I told him about my de-cluttering project and about the Don Aslett books that were so helpful. He said they really needed to do something like that (due to estates, etc.). I was in Half Price Books the next day and spotted a used copy of the book I've been using, so I picked it up and dropped it off.

Today I had another checkup and I remembered to ask him how his de-cluttering is going. He was quite animated, said that book had been very helpful, especially since they're getting ready to move. They can decide now what to take and what to donate, discard, sell, whatever. He said it has been very useful in going through those items that came from grand parents and great aunts that you might feel guilty about getting rid of. "But if they were here now and you were to talk to them about the situation with these items, of course they wouldn't expect you to keep them if it isn't practical.
