I hope that from wherever she watches, Harper Lee will enjoy the event. A great writer who was never satisfied with anything and had only one novel published, Harper Lee is an American of no small importance. TKAM was voted best novel of the 20th century by the Library Journal.......and I'm not one to go against them. Along with many others my life was changed when I first read it and it remains THE favorite novel and movie for both Karen and me.
