Back in the early eighties I heard this song performed at the Sidmouth folk festival by Bonnie ??(Can't remember her surname) accompanied by Paddy Burns (I think) on the tin whistle. Can anyone fill in the names - Alison for example? - and does anyone know if they have ever recorded this song. I've heard other's sing it but no-one that has the same impact that theirs did. Incidentally I couldn't find the song in the data base, so I could post the lyrics if anyone is interested.
