Thread Name: Proverb about singing
Subject: RE: Proverb about singing
"Singing a song in the morning,
Singing it again at night.
I don't even know what I'm singing about
But it makes me feel I feel all right..."
- Kevin Ayers

I used to think that was quite profound, as a song lyric. Actually, I still think it's quite profound.

And who can forget Peter Blegvad's "The only song"? Here are the first few verses:

Imagine a world where this was the only song
And, against your will,
You had to listen to it all day long
Until it made you ill,
Until it made you ill.

Imagine a world where this was the only song
And, against your will,
You had to listen to it all day long
Until it made you ill,
Until it made you ill.

Imagine a world where this was the only song
And, against your will,
You had to listen to it all day long
Until it made you ill,
Until it made you ill.
