There's a grave in the backgarden, filled with around thirty years worth of their bones.... Some of them were born here, children of their parents.

One night my Mother awoke to cat ghosts. Our Queen and matriarch Tigerlill, who had disappeared in the feilds one summer, 'returned' a few months after we had given up on her ever coming home ...bringing with her a family of dead kittys (Bob, Possum, Teddy, Boo-Boo, Foofy and Butty-Bear) padding their invisible paws upon her bed.

My Mum was a very practical and grounded person, but still prone to some psychic type events now and then. But in shock at the invisible padding on her bed, she reacted by shouting at the 'manifestation' and the kitty ghost family scattered.

An instant later she recognised the nature of what she had experienced, and tried to call Tigerlill back, but they had all gone.
She was rather sad about it...
