Beer ,don't go by the 'book'.. find out what you have, then check on Ebay for market prices for similar 'issues'... I did this with two extensive collections a few years ago. The last collection had over 70,000 stamps including rare Canadians... Had to be patient, cherry picking and breaking them up into 'lots' or individual items to maximize the sales profit. They ended up all over the planet. Still have a complete book set of The Queen's coronation from all the Commonwealth countries.(There were many back then) Couldn't get much at the time so I kept it.... on the other hand the George VI coronation did well.... don't care if I see another stamp again....but I learned much about history and geography at the time... and my contacts now are mostly outdated or dead... good luck... ps.. got any 'penny blacks' ?
