Thanks Alan ... that mix is what I was trying to achieve in writing it. The show is about equally split between words and music ... and in all but two instances (or possibly one?) the words do link into the songs with some purpose, or as an illustration. The intention was/is(?) to provide an entertaining but informative evening, a show rather than a talk, with words and music (in most cases the tunes are probably not well known, nor are quite a few of the songs performed in the normally known versions). I'm really glad that you enjoyed it, and that we seem to have met our objective, and am really grateful for your feedback.
