I've been trying to find a reference to my all time worst movie, and can't find a thing. I saw it at an art theater in Chicago in the '70s or very early '80s. It was based on Saint Sebastian, but it wasn't one of the films titled "Sebastian" that I can reference. This one had to have been Italian, or just possibly Spanish. It Turned out to be totally homoerotic, which...uh...wasn't my cup of tea. But that wasn't half the problem. In this movie, "wooden" acting would have been a big improvement; some of the acting was excrutiatingly maudlin, and some of it was delivered in frantic, hysterical rants that I've never really seen anything like. This wasn't a candidate for the "so bad it's good" list; this was just mind-frying. I think some of the critics loved it.
