The way Canada is pillaging the Third World of its doctors is criminal. There is no good reason why Canada should not train far more of its own doctors, and let the developing countries keep theirs. I have known of young Canadians who could not get into medical school despite sterling academic - and other - qualifications.

If there were more Canadian-trained physicians in total, then there would be more of them in rural areas.
