im also a decendent from the bottomley family.the tale is billy williams changed his name to james william bottomley.married my great great gran and left her with 4 kids 2 bring up and ran off with a woman.im tryin to look into this but am at a dead end at the moment.one of his children was called mary elizabeth bottomley who is my great gran.
