I guess I do, come to think of it...have more energy, I mean.:-) And, I do make lists, sometimes I don't list all of the small, usual things I do, but I do value them as time well-spent.

What kind of savings did she have, did she say?

We have a windup wall clock which I keep going through old-fashioned "wind-up" power and microwave and stove ones in the kitchen, plus a clock radio, there and in the bedroom. I think the microwave insists on being reprogrammed every time it loses power, but I could unplug the clock radios and let them run on battery at night, but then again, I might forget to plug them back and run the batteries down.I'll have to think about this, more. I think we'd lose programming on the tv/dvd/sound system things, too. I put the computer on "hibernate" if I am going to be away from it for more than a few minutes throughout the day and at night. Now, you've got me thinking.
