This is a prime example of what a truly wonderful thing the Mudcat is !! Without all the above discussion,argument and differences of opinion, I would never have known about the intricacies and complications attendant upon the fitting and repair of guitar-frets !In future, I shall regard them ( both frets and luthiers) with respect and awe.
